100% REGENERATED NYLON FROM ECONYL ® ITALY
It is sustainability by regenerating, reusing, remaking. 
Econyl yarn is made from discarded fishing nets from the ocean, ghost nets and landfills in collaboration with Healthy Seas Foundation and Aquafil of Italy. Nylon waste which otherwise would be polluting the earth is transformed into yarn and  technical performance fabrics.  It is same as new nylon which can be recycled and regenerated. Again and again.

100% RECYCLED POLYESTER 
It gives a second life to a material that’s not biodegradable and would otherwise end up in a landfill or the ocean and damage the environment. 
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices and chemical restrictions to-
- verify responsible social, environmental and chemical practices during production.
- ensure accurate content claims and good working conditions.
- ensure harmful environmental and chemical impacts are minimised. This includes ginning, spinning, weaving and knitting, dyeing, printing and sewing of products.

100% RECYCLED LABELS
Even labels are recycled. Care labels used on PLAYFIKS products are recycled and certified by OEKO-TEX.
UPCYCLED FABRICS 
To reduce the impact on the environment without using the new resources PLAYFIKS® reuses existing discarded fabrics (which would otherwise would end up in landfills) by converting them into high quality value added sustainable products. 
Upcycling contributes to the elimination of waste through reuse of materials and conservation of the environment, in particular, reduction in landfill and pollution.
 
100% RECYCLED SEWING THREAD FROM PET BOTTLES  
PLAYFIKS® products have 100% recycled sewing threads made from post consumer plastic bottles. They are made in Germany, by Gütermann and certified by OEKO-TEX®.The thread requires less energy and resources where CO2 emissions are significantly reduced, conserving the environment and saving natural resources.  They are also stretchable for extra comfort and smooth seams.
ANTI-MICROBIAL 
What is Anti-microbial fabric ? 
Textile that offers protection against bacteria, mould, mildew. 
Antimicrobial treatment on the fabrics are designed to inhibit growth or eliminate bacteria or fungi. It increases comfort, extends life of the fabric and curtails post activity foul odour.
PLAYFIKS®  products are tested and certified by International testing laboratories for anti-microbial properties.
MOISTURE-WICKING
Moisture-wicking is quick-dry.  
Higher the standard of moisture-wicking, faster the transfer of sweat from inner to outer layer of fabric, dispersion and eventual evaporation. This maintains body temperature by keeping it dry. 
PLAYFIKS ® products are tested, authenticated and certified by International laboratories for their moisture-wicking properties.

FSC CERTIFIED RECYCLED PACKAGING 
PLAYFIKS® packaging uses FSC® certified paper which guarantee that all materials are derived from responsible forest management. 
In an FSC® forest, no more trees are felled than the forest can manage to reproduce. This helps to ensure a CO2-neutral forest.
Animals and plant life are protected. Parts of FSC® forests are preserved completely, and areas with endangered animals and plants are protected.
People that work in the forests are ensured training, safety equipment, decent wages and the right to join or form trade unions.
Local populations benefit from the forest revenues, and local labour is used.
Indigenous peoples are ensured the right to use these forests as they did before, and are involved in the management of the forests.
